Adding a custom domain makes your portal even more professional and tailored to your brand. “Peppery” will be removed from the URL and your domain will be added. With a custom domain, your portal will be transformed into portal.yourdomain.com. How cool is that?
Before we dive into the details, please note that adding a custom domain is only possible for pro account holders.
Adding a Custom Domain #
Adding a custom domain is simple! Just follow these simple steps:
Click on your user image, located in the top right corner of your Peppery dashboard.
From the dropdown menu, select “Settings.” and click on “Domain”
Step 1: Time to enter your domain.
Step 2: Configure your DNS settings. Don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds. Add a new “A” type record to your DNS. This step ensures that your custom domain points to your Peppery portal.
Click on the “Update Domain” button, and you’re done.
The DNS changes usually take anywhere between 5 minutes to 24 hours to update.
